For the optical reading process to function smoothly and quickly, the form must be scanned at the correct angle and distance. Capturing the image from too far away makes it difficult for the system to detect the frame and codes.
-
Take Close and Focused Shots: Move the camera close enough to the form so that only the QR code and the key frame (coding area) just below it fit entirely within the screen.
-
Keep Background Details Out of the Frame: Capturing the form from a distance causes reading errors. Background objects such as tables, floors, clothing, or other surrounding items must absolutely not appear in the photo. The screen should be filled exclusively with the section of the form that needs to be scanned.
-
Align Parallel to the Form: Ensure that the camera is held parallel to the optical form and that the reading frame aligns squarely with your phone screen.
